What the Henkel, MrE?

Well yesterday truly was a crappy / weird day!

First we went to baby swim with Adrienne which was great she had fun and did great progress!
But after the swim in the shower i discovered i had a pocket on my p***s (!!!!), it was so weird especially when it filled with water, but fortunately I don’t have to go to the doctors. I just have to learn how to put my swim shorts on right!

(now go wash your eyes of that vision if you can!)

We then had “fika” with my brother and that was fun! I am a pro at building space ships with lego and doing great boosters and coolent systems for it!

But then after Adrienne went to bed we tried to watch “survivor” and the frikking PS3 broke! Just in the middle of the show - black no image no start-up no nothing! So if i got to search what this can be.
It the red light diode death of PS3…except this is not as easy as changing the image settings (HDMI problems for some!). This is most likely the HDD that is broken. I bough this thing in 2008-04-26 it is 1.5 years should NOT BREAK!

Playstation support costs 7.5 crowns a minute. I’d rather call a frigging sex line and listen to fake moans for that kinda money. But in about 22 minutes the sony stores opens….good look to them! And at noon the retailer opens. I think the retailer will be my best option since that is that the webpage says.

But i might be without my PS3 for a whole month! DISASTER!
Watching shows on my computer ain’t no fun…and Erika well she has to watch on hers…so no more bedtime watching!

Trial and error…my favorite method!

So…well i went to my lovely wifes shiny MacBook PRO…and she has the same problem! (it just doesn’t open the window where to select the file to upload…)
Plan A - canceled due to unforeseen problems. Such as the F*****g thing not working…pardon my french!
Plan B - upload stuff to youtube? (and be one step closer to being a “utwitface”)(if you don’t get it..don’t worry watch Conan)
Plan C - vividly with text describe the pictures and videos…;)
Plan D - update wordpress? - could that be the root of the evil?

Psssst Jay Lenos new show is pretty darn good…the first one was so so…..the second better!

Ahhhh now i am all blogged out! (talk about being famished for intelligent thoughts after 7 weeks of being on parent leave….3,5 months to go man my post will only improve from here!)

I checked out an older post…and it has a pictures…that post was made from my old computer.
So VISTA is effing up my posting…hmm…

Yesterday discreetly of course my dear wife compared my cooking to Airplane food!? Here is how she did it:

“- here come the airplane food, Adrienne open up!” (picture spoonful of goodies approaching Adrienne…)

Talk about freudian slip or passive aggressive or something! So my meat-sauce was a little off but not that bad!

Will i recover from this? - stay tuned for the next episode or whenever i fill up again.

AND I AM STILL PISSED ABOUT THE PICTURES AND VIDEO!

Too discover that I can’t post pictures or video!?…and i have some interesting stuff. Got the new iphone 3GS takes pictures and VIDEO…and is water proooooof…imagine the fun one can have. I wanted to share I really did…but what can i say!

I am wearing well shorts and a t-shirt no baby puke, we are past that time. I prolly have some baby boooger somewhere on it. The little one has a cold…wohoooo…

Maybe I should get some blog sauce just to get going some! Ahhh better 6 ice cubes and a “mugg” got like a little handle on it for easier drinking…ohh you top the ice cubes with yes BAILEYS! (sorry nothing more impressing…) (shug shug shug….NO that is not the way to drink this…..sip sip sip gulp gulp…;)

This pictures & video thing has gotten me upset!

And my new computer is nice and very shiny and very very fast…but the game i bough it for…just has this limits and then there is some random crashes now and then that is very off putting - like fish on sunday morning! But there is a patch coming for the game so hopefully that will fix it…otherwise a great game but but the crashes are really annoying just takes the fun out of playing (even thou most of the time it is just to restart and you keep going where you where!

I guess i am rambling!

I just beat my lovely wife to be the first one to write a blog from the new shiny MacBook PRO….and well it is nice and shiny…and ohhhhh so nice to type on!

I found it…the holy grail of blogging…and it was a lot closer than i though!
In a dark dark corner of the kitchen deep deep inside a long long forgotten cabinnet…the bottle with the blog sauce. It is a bottle like no other…it’s a bottle who has been sitting there so long and waiting for the right moment…when the liquids seperate into threeeee layers. And NO you don’t shake it or stir it or serve it with olives…you drink it straight!

And there you are sitting on a thursday night blogging…;) (I won’t tell you what I am wearing…)

So yesterday we had a walk about in the office getting to know the next next generation of machine…actually a whole new area of machines completly new to us:
- 100 times faster
- 10 times cheaper…so cheap that it could be compared to an ordinary printer…
- printing quality that makes our machines look like overachievers…so ok the printing quality doesn’t matter.
WE ARE GOING INTO THE LOW END SEGEMENT…is that a company secret?
Feel good…a challange has been given…and what the heck we can do IT! Not sure how but together we can do it!

My boss also mentioned that my name has come up for a project manager position in one of the sub projects for this new “toy”….thats what i wanna do! (and i would kick ass at it…well i like to think that…)

And then TODAY…we get a meeting with the VD….and he is starting out nice and cuddly…and then *WHAM* we have to save 100 Million…budget cuts…we are laying of 30 ppl…
Last time that happened I ended up on a list…but made it….I also ehum had a job ready just in case…this time…well I think I will make it…but what de F*…pardon my french!

And my boss tells me that because i am managing the software project for the current machine i can’t jump on the new project…(i wanna run a project from start to end…not have someone else mess up the start!, ok i took this project over from another guy…argh…i have ideas that i wanna try)

Once upon a time a young (scratch that, grey haired wise man) went and bought a shiny new toy to replace some cables going across the living floor as a hiden attempt to make people trip and fall (yes I did have a webcamera installed to catch the moment…). Anyway the shiny new black thing was quickly installed with a few new grey hairs and a few bumps along the way. So how has the story progress since the last victory?

Singstar was played and enjoyed and connected to the credit card a few more songs were bought, nice game…..lacking in songs though, why aren’t all the PS2 songs there? WHY!? (it was easy to buy new songs however…but the microphones were the same as for PS2…so now we have four microphones. We are eagarly awaiting the time to do battle with four teams….;)

Assassin’s creed my lattest addiction is over, finito, finished, game over. It was lovely while it lasted but now I must put it to rest and move on. So I am now looking for a new addiction unless I return to my old one…my old lover, my friend of many enjoyable hours. But it can’t be enjoyed in bed, so it will not be the same! The end of ass’n'ass left me wondering so I had to google the ending in order to understand (it was all setup for a sequel….or more to it…a threesome of games). Anyway here is a link that explains the ending (contains spoilers..). The game also has some flaws…I did enjoy playing it but I will most likely not play it again…each mission can pretty much be done in only one way. So what will I now use the PS3 for, it is rather nice to look at! The intended purpose of the PS3 was to act as a Media Center it is does that job with no problem, just queue up the movies you wish to see and download them to the PS3 and then do something else (like play ass’n'ass) and voila the movies are downloaded. It even remember were you were in the movie (if you have to leave while watching). So what are the misstakes?

1. We bought singstars with micronphones, hence we now have four microphones (we did ask if PS3 was compatible with PS2 microphones). So were were tricked!
2. BluRay remote…not really needed the ordinary handler handles the fast forward / skip functions nicely as well, pure waste!
3. Extra handler…actually not so bad. In the final battle (long one) I got the message, handler is running low on battery, one more minute to go! Quit playing so near the end? NO WAY JOSE! Quickly grab the second handler (freshly charged) reconfigure it and voila back to the stabing / hacking / slashing….(lots bad guys in my way….I was doing my thing like rambo on a bad day with speed!)
4. Small harddrive…only 40 GB but you can buy and install a bigger one (2.5″ size) even instructions how to replace the old drive for a larger one…so no biggie!

So overall best buy of the month…;)

You would think that an addictive personality applies to people who do drugs, alcohol or some other not to be mentioned here addiction. But there are soooo much more tooo it…I have an addictive personality! No you don’t get addicted to me, nor do I get addicted to you (maybe you wish? ;). But my lovely wife politly points out now and then that I have an addictive personality meaning I get sucked into things.

I’d be reading a book and not hearing a thing and all I want to do is finish the page and read the next one, solution: Hide all books….;) (I mostly read during flights and well when I am on vacation). Now that’s what I call a safe addition…except I am not exactly social.

My latest addication is Assassin’s Creed a PS3 game (alos available to other platforms), awesome graphics nice story and rich enviroment (sounds like a commercial, so just buy the game now!). So I am running around the rooftops of three different cities in the crusader period, saving citizens, pickpocketing (whenever that is required), and killing bad people. But the problem is so far all the assassinations have been too people who think they are doing good…but my guy keeps following the big bosses order…I sense a betrayal on the horizon!
